The HVAC industry faces a growing challenge as fewer people enter the trade each year. To meet that need, we created MSC University, a program designed to give apprentices the tools, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. Instead of learning only on a jobsite, apprentices train in an environment where they can build skills step by step before stepping into the field.
Hands-On Learning Environment
Our training center is equipped with package units, split systems, mini splits, compressors and more. This setup allows apprentices to work directly with the same equipment they will encounter on jobs. Some days focus on classroom learning, while other days move straight into tearing down equipment and troubleshooting real systems. This balance gives apprentices the chance to learn theory and immediately apply it in practice.
Preparing for the Field
Traditionally, companies placed new hires alongside technicians in the field with limited direction. We wanted to change that approach. By investing in a structured program, we make sure apprentices are ready for the challenges ahead. They don’t have to fumble through their first service call or guess at solutions. Instead, they walk in with a clear understanding of how to diagnose and repair equipment.
Investing in the Future of HVAC
MSC University is our commitment to building stronger teams and a stronger future for our industry. When our apprentices graduate into the field, they’re not only capable of handling the work but also confident in their ability to succeed. That investment benefits every technician, every client and every project we complete.
